T-Mobile has launched new device promotions to combat rising postpaid phone churn, which reached 1.02% in Q4 2025, higher than the previous quarter. The carrier has introduced several new offers, including a free iPhone 17 deal for customers who trade in an eligible old phone. The company also dropped an iPhone 17 promotion. To make the situation less appealing, T-Mobile is offering new and existing customers a Galaxy S26 Ultra (or up to $1,300 off any in the series) when adding a new line or three new lines on its Better Value plan, to qualify for the deal. Despite this trend, other telecom companies like Verizon and AT&T have continued to ramp up device deals to attract customers.
