Vet prescription fees to be capped at £21, watchdog says

The UK's Competition and Markets Authority has announced that it will introduce a cap on the written prescription fees for the elderly to prevent future inflation. The move comes after an investigation by the watchdog found that prices had been rising at nearly double the rate of inflation. Additionally, a price comparison website will be introduced to help increase competition and decrease consumer costs.
