Andre-Marcel Devieux, a state correction officer from Amityville, has been indicted on multiple charges related to a Dec. 28, 2025, crash that seriously injured two people and resulted in the death of an unborn child. Prosecutors allege that Devieaux was driving with a suspended license at the time of the crash. The front-seat passenger of the car, who was seven months pregnant, was also severely injured.
