The First Congregational Church of Naperville is selling a book celebrating its history, "Love & Justice: The Landmarking of the 1906 Building," for a $28 donation. The book documents nearly 200 years of history through hundreds of photographs and stories. It was granted landmark status on Feb. 17 and is the first church in the city to receive landmark status. It is also the sixth building to receive that designation. The 224-page book may be preordered at www.loveand.org/donate by selecting Landmarked Book. It will be available at various libraries and online through the Illinois Digital Archive. Will County Resource Recovery and Energy Division is hosting a large recycling event, Recyclepalooza, on April 18 in Joliet. The Forest Preserve District of Will County will also host "Backpack Biologists" at Hidden Oaks Nature Center in Bolingbrook.
