Albuquerque welterweight Josh Torres is set to face Jose Valenzuela Alvarado, a late replacement for Alejandro Frias Rodriguez (21-13-2, 12 KOs), who withdrew due to a shoulder injury. Valenzulea, a native of Puebla, Mexico, has a 4-28-4 record and only one of his 28 losses has been by knockout or TKO. Despite the change of opponents, Torres insists his mindset remains unchanged and aims to perform well regardless of who steps into the ring. Torres' bout against Valenzuala was for the UBO welterweights title, but the organization could not justify awarding a title given Valenzuea's record.
