Vantor's WorldView Legion 4 satellite captured a close-up photo of the Hubble Space Telescope on April 23, 2026, from a distance of 38.4 miles (61.8 kilometers) away. The photo was shared by Vantor as part of its celebration of the telescope's 36th birthday. The satellite, which orbits at the same altitude, can clearly observe features as small as 11.8 inches (30 cm) on their home planet. The image also includes Hubble's signature cylindrical body, thermal shielding, and extended solar arrays.
