Australia's No. 2 oil and gas producer, Santos, has temporarily shut its Darwin LNG plant due to equipment replacement on the BW Opal floating production vessel at the offshore Barossa gas and condensate project. The company did not specify how long the plant would remain offline. It could take "a number of weeks" for it to resume operations.
