The U.S. Great Plains is under a severe threat, with large hail, damaging winds, and frequent tornadoes possible in several states. The threat will move east, with a level 2/5 (Southeastern) severe risk for parts of Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania also on the rise. The temperature will remain cooler than normal, with temperatures expected to return by mid-November.
