An attack on a teaching hospital in Sudan's Darfur region has killed at least 64 people, including 13 children. The World Health Organisation (WHO) confirmed that multiple patients, two female nurses, and one male doctor were among the victims. The attack also damaged the hospital's paediatric, maternity, and emergency departments, rendering the facility non-functional and cutting off essential medical services in the city. This brings the total number of fatalities linked to attacks on health facilities during Sudan's war to over 2,000. The conflict between Sudan's army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and thousands of displaced people.
