A man was stabbed to death at the Tohono Tadai Transit Center in Tucson, Arizona, on March 4. The victim's condition has stabilized at the hospital. This incident is part of a larger trend of violent incidents connected to Sun Tran since April 5, 2025. Daniel Michael Jr., 25, allegedly attacked a man and woman with a hatchet at a Sun Link streetcar stop in downtown Tucson, killing one of them, Jacob Couch. Other incidents have also occurred, including an assault on a bus at a Tucson bus stop on Sept. 9, 2025, an assault at Udall Park, and a fight at the Loas Transit Center.
