Advocate raises $18M for commercial insurance data

Advocate Technologies, a company that helps commercial insurance professionals compare policy prices and coverage, has raised $18 million in seed funding. The funding is part of the company's strategy to help commercial insurance policy professionals compare policies across different providers and providers. The company's CEO, Ashwin Agarwal, explains that commercial insurance policies are often difficult to compare across properties, carriers and brokers.
