A bill proposed by Representatives Tristan Rader and Jean Schmidt in Ohio could make Ohio the first official cryptid of the state, or the first in the United States. The bill would declare the Loveland Frogman as the official state cryptid. If passed, Ohio would become the first state in the U.S. to designate an official cryptod. California is also reportedly considering similar legislation to name Bigfoot as its own state cryptids.
