City of Tyler celebrates next step toward new Blackstone Hotel

The construction of the new Blackstone Hotel in Tyler, Texas, is the next step towards the construction of a new hotel. The hotel is set to be built near the site of the original hotel, which was destroyed in 1985, and is expected to hold 140 guest rooms. The Valencia Hotel Group is investing $47.7 million in the project. The project aligns with the city's Downtown Improvement Project.
