Voters split on whether Iran strikes were necessary: Survey

A survey conducted by Morning Consult has found that Americans are divided on whether U.S. strikes on Iran were necessary. 41% of registered voters said the operation, "Operation Epic Fury," was necessary, while 42% preferred diplomacy. The operation was launched in tandem with Israel after President Trump was dissatisfied with negotiations between the two sides regarding Iranian nuclear enrichment and ballistic missile development. As of Monday, four U.K. service members have been killed in action. As Congress returns to work, many are pushing for a vote on war powers resolutions to halt the U.
