Germany's first government evacuation flight from the Middle East landed at Frankfurt airport on Thursday morning. The Lufthansa Airbus A340-300 had departed from Muscat, where passengers were selected following the US attack on Iran. The evacuation was prioritised for particularly vulnerable groups, including pregnant women, the sick, and children. The flight took about eight hours and nearly two hours.
