About half of the teachers at Fort Vancouver High School in Washington state walked out of a staff meeting due to a social media page that posted AI-generated images of staff members. The page, which has since been removed, also referenced possible violence at a school assembly. The school district reported the page to the Vancouver Police Department, but no credible threat was found. With many teachers absent, the district brought in substitute teachers and additional staff. The Vancouver Education Association did not authorize or coordinate the walkout. The district has postponed an honor roll assembly scheduled for this week while law enforcement completes its review.
