The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a couple on child abuse charges for forcing a 14-year-old boy into dog urine and assaulting him. The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) reported the incident to detectives who reviewed home video footage showing Gina Sagona forcing the boy to face down into the water and repeatedly being hit. Both Gina and her husband, Mark, were charged with principal to child abuse. Both were booked into the Parish Jail.
