The Seattle Kraken defeated Carolina 2-1, ending the Hurricanes' 12-game point streak (10-0-2). Joey Daccord made 35 saves and Kaapo Kakko and Ben Meyers scored. Adam Larsson also contributed two assists for Seattle. Jamie Oleksiak set a career high with 11 hits and blocked three shots. Nikolaj Ehlers scored for Carolina, which had a five-game winning streak broken. The game marked the first time the Kraken had taken a 2-0 lead, but a video review determined the Kraken were offside.
