Kansas City residents and first responders climbed 902 steps to the top of One Kansas City Place, the tallest skyscraper in the city, as part of the annual Fight For Air Climb. The event aims to raise awareness for those affected by lung disease and lung cancer. The participants said the stair climb represents the daily struggle many patients face to breathe. Every dollar raised supports the American Lung Association, helping fund research, advocacy and education programs.
