The decision to hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) for the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) could result in the cancellation of the meeting after it was announced that chair Richard Collier-Keywood would step down. The Central Glamorgan Rugby Union, which represents one of the WRU's club districts, had proposed three motions, including a vote of no-confidence in Collier Keywood and a proposal for governance changes.
