Aquarion Water Company has urged voluntary water conservation in the following Connecticut towns, citing severe drought conditions and a deficit of over 13 inches of rainfall over the past year. The Eastern Fairfield County System has reached its first drought trigger at 65 percent of total capacity. As a result, Aquarion is urging customers to voluntarily reduce their water use. The company has also provided a list of six simple ways to conserve water.
