Green Party leader, Zack Polanski, has expressed concerns over the police response to an alleged assault on a mentally ill man, stating that public servants should not be above scrutiny and action towards them should be proportionate. He has apologised for sharing a tweet in haste and stated that social media was not the appropriate forum for these concerns. He also accused of attacking another man, Ishmail Hussein, whom he had known for around 20 years, on the same day.
