Police have arrested 44-year-old man, Junichi Inoue, for allegedly stabbing another motorist in the face with a kitchen knife following a traffic dispute. The alleged attack occurred on a national highway in the Shimosangao area of Noda City, Japan. During questioning by police, Inouse admitted to the attack but partially denied the attempted murder charge. The victim was left with a minor stab wound to his right cheek, which will require approximately two weeks to heal.
