A 46-year-old man from Hempstead, New Jersey, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for sex trafficking. The victim was recruited through social media and forced into performing sex acts for money. The pair met in May 2023 and Reid photographed her semi-naked on a prostitution website. He then drove them to a "prostitution street" along Pennsylvania Avenue, where they were forced to perform sex acts. The girl eventually escaped and reported the abuse to her caseworker.
