Hyundai is recalling nearly 70,000 of its 2026 Palisade SUVs due to a child's death. The recall, which includes the Palisades Limited and Calligraphy trims, is related to a defect with the second and third-row power seats. The seats may not detect a person sitting there when they fold, and the second row is designed to tilt and slide with the touch of a button. Hyundai has advised owners to make sure no children or objects are in the back two rows when using the power functions. The company will offer interested customers with a rental vehicle through its network of dealers.
