A New Roads man, Deandre Jackson, has been charged with conspiracy to possess a machine gun. The device, known as "Glock Switch," was discovered in a package sent from China containing an illegal firearm modification attachment. Jackson, who is currently on probation for life, has prior convictions for narcotics possession, burglary, and weapon possession. The modification is dangerous for both the person using it and the person surrounding it.
