Personal items link possible identity to human remains found in Utah County

The remains of human remains were discovered in a remote mountainous area by a horseback rider on Saturday night, March 28. The Utah County Sheriff's Office has confirmed its identification through personal items found on the scene. The remains are being transported to the state medical examiner's office for further examination. The investigation is ongoing.
