Crystal Lake District 155 among those targeted in DOJ probe over gender, sexuality policies

The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating 36 school districts in Illinois, including those of Crystal Lake High School District 155 and Country Club Hills School District 160. The probe will focus on how and if these districts teach about gender and sexuality, including whether they have included sexual orientation and gender ideology (SOGI) content in any class for grades pre-K-12. Additionally, it will investigate whether these districts have informed parents of their right to opt out of such instruction. The investigations are preliminary and no findings have been made.
