Universities recovering from Canvas cyber attack

A cyberattack on the online educational program Canvas has left some schools and universities without access to the program, which manages classes, course notes, assignments, grades, and more for students and educators. The attack was claimed by a group called 'ShinyHunters' who demanded extortion payments under threat of leaking the platform's data. Among the affected schools are Murray State and Indiana University. It is unclear when service will be restored.
