Netflix's Assassin's Creed show confirms all-new time period, but will return to a fan-favorite location

Netflix's adaptation of Assassin's Creed has been confirmed, with the setting and time period confirmed. The show will be set in Rome, Italy, almost 1,500 years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and will tell a new story. The return to Rome, a popular location for Assassin's Creations, will be significant as it's the primary setting of the second game. The cast includes Toby Wallace and Lola Petticrew, Noomi Rapace, Sean Harris and Claes Bang. The release date for the show is yet to be announced.
