Mets bullpen call-up Daniel Duarte is expected to receive an extended look after Luke Weaver and Brooks Raley are expected to be traded by the Aug. 3 deadline. A.J. Minter, another reliever, was traded to the Twins in exchange for prospects Bruin Agbayani and Billy Amick. Duarte, who has yet to allow a run in 11 innings of action this season, is focusing on staying healthy and staying on the right foot. The 29-year-old has been effective in the majors with a 0.00 ERA and 11 strikeouts against just two walks. This could mean extra work for Duarte and Huascar Brazobán.
