Amazon's Zoox Picks Dallas as Next Robotaxi Testing Ground

Amazon's autonomous vehicle subsidiary, Zoox, has chosen Dallas as its next testing ground. The move will bring the company's U.S. footprint to 10. A fleet of retrofitted Toyota Highlander SUVs will be used to map city streets. However, the robotaxis will be introduced later, pending regulatory clearance. The announcement comes ahead of a national autonomous vehicle safety forum in Washington.
