Angel Studios has acquired global distribution rights for Salt & Honey, the latest feature directed by Amy Redford, daughter of late Robert Redford. The film will star Anna Camp, Justin Chatwin, and Jesse Garcia. The screenplay was written by Skye Emerson, a Sundance Institute Screenwriting Fellow and Grand Prize winner of the ISA Emerging Screenwriters Competition. Production is set to begin this month in Helper, Utah. This will be Redford's third feature film as a director and follows a young girl who dreams of becoming a geoscientist working in the salt mines. The company is looking forward to sharing this Utah-rooted story with audiences worldwide.
