HBO and Max head, Casey Bloys, has explained that the network is taking a cautious approach to developing spin-offs for the popular Game of Thrones series. Bloys stated that he prefers to do this on a script-by-script basis and avoids making any decisions ahead of time. He also acknowledged that some spin-off projects will not necessarily come to fruition due to high demand.
