A person was killed in a police shooting in Catawba County, North Carolina, on April 3, according to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI). The shooting occurred at a house on Fifth Street Southeast in Hickory. The circumstances of the death were not immediately disclosed. The SBI has been asked by Hickory police to review the case.
