Much-needed rainfall returns later this week to Charlotte region

After a chilly weekend, temperatures are rising, with temperatures expected to reach the 70s and low 80s by mid-week. This will be followed by a more unsettled pattern with a daily chance for showers and thunderstorms. However, another cold front is expected to approach, potentially delaying the rain until late Easter Sunday into the following week.
