The final book in the Curve trilogy, which follows three best friends over a summer, is about Jasmyn Payne, the protagonist of the book. Allen's first foray into traditional publishing was about fat Black women with natural hair, as she wanted to be the main character of her love story. The author believes that romance can discuss tough issues, such as family issues, bullying, and family issues. Allen hopes that the series' ending might help readers find a new beginning of their own life.
