Timothy Shemitis, a 71-year-old man from Frankfort, is facing charges of threatening a public official and harassment by telephone. The charges were filed by the Illinois State Police on Thursday and were filed against him. The complaint accuses him of using telephone communication to make obscene comments that include threats to harm or destroy the person.
