Parole Officer Left Gun In Fitting Room At Milford Mall: Report

A parole officer with the state's Department of Correction, Wendy Vereen, has been charged with criminally negligent storage of a firearm for the second time in six months. She is accused of leaving the gun in a fitting room at the Connecticut Post Mall. This incident occurred in November and Verean was placed on administrative leave.
