David E. Kelley, the prolific showrunner, is working with director Matt Reeves for a series based on Tom Wolfe's The Bonfire of the Vanities. The project is currently in development at Apple TV, with Warner Bros. TV as the studio. Kelley is adapting the novel and Reeves will direct it. The series will be Kelley's third show for Apple TV. The novel was published in 1987 and depicts the excesses of 1980s Wall Street.
