Dr. Sanjay Gupta has been filming the eighth installment of his decade-long series, Weed 8: Women and Weed, about the role of cannabis in modern medicine. The documentary follows a year of travel across the country, where he learned that cannabis has become a lifeline for women who feel unseen by conventional medicine. These women are struggling with health issues such as cancer treatment, athletes managing endometriosis, teachers navigating sleeplessness and mood swings of menopause.
