The documentary follows a year of travel across the country, where he learned that cannabis has become a lifeline for women who feel unseen by conventional medicine. These women are struggling with health issues such as cancer treatment, athletes managing endometriosis, teachers navigating sleeplessness and mood swings of menopause. Despite this, Dr. Gupta argues that the evidence for cannabis's medical use should no longer be ignored, arguing that its medical use can no longer exist. Since medical marijuana was legalized in Oklahoma, an entire industry has sprung up, driven by a can-do ethos driven by women. The larger conversation about medical marijuana continues to shift at a faster pace.
