Michigan G Macy Brown out remainder of tournament with torn ACL

Michigan reserve guard, Macy Brown, will not participate in the remainder of the NCAA tournament due to a torn ACL in her right knee at a practice. Brown, who has played 30 games this season off the bench, expressed her gratitude for the support of her teammates and stated that she wouldn't have missed the game for the world. She is facing a nine- to 12-month recovery period. The team's leader, Barnes Arico, described Brown as an "incredible human" and "the most unselfish person" in the sport.
