National gas prices have reached the highest since 2002, with the national average rising to $4 per gallon. This is due to the ongoing war in Iran which has disrupted the supply chain and cost of crude oil. Georgia's average price is $3.62 per gallon, with prices across the state exceeding $3,000. The cheapest prices are in the Midwest. It is unclear when or how the war will end, as there is no clear end to the conflict.
