The case surrounding the shooting death of 15-year-old LataJohne Phillips in 2024 has been expanded to include two additional suspects in relation to a planned robbery ambush. Atrevion Nathan and Dasha Eckford have been charged with murder in connection with the killing. Both had previously faced charges related to conspiracy to commit robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, aiding or inducing robbery, and obstruction of justice. The shooting was reportedly linked to a firearms transaction and was captured on surveillance video leaving an apartment complex shortly before the shooting and returning minutes later. Other defendants in the case include K-Shaun English, Robert Graham III, and Ricky Nathan, all of whom are still moving through the court system.
