Millennium Docs Against Gravity Announces 2026 Main Competition Lineup

Millennium Docs Against Gravity (MDAG) in Poland has announced its 2026 Main Competition lineup, with a dozen features competing for the Bank Millennium Award. The winner will automatically receive a place in the Academy Awards. The three-person jury will include Oscar-nominated filmmaker Talal Derki, Oscar-shortlisted filmmaker Lea Glob, and Oscar producer Jessica Hargrave. The films in the Main Competition are described as the highlight of current documentary cinema. MDAG, the second-largest documentary film festival in Europe, will run from May 8-17 across seven cities in Poland. The festival also introduced a new award: the FIPRESCIaryaryary.
