Fox News' Jesse Watters asked Vice President JD Vance if the US risks repeating the drawn-out wars of Iraq and Afghanistan. Vance responded that the president, President Donald Trump, has clearly defined what he wants to accomplish and would not commit U.S. forces to an open-ended war. He argued that unlike previous administrations, the president would not send troops into conflict without a clear objective and a defined endpoint.
