Three Los Angeles County residents have been charged with insurance fraud related to a fraudulent scheme involving a bear suit and luxury vehicles. The California Department of Insurance alleges that the defendants used a person dressed in the costume to stage fake attacks on their luxury vehicles and submit fraudulent claims to insurance companies totalling around $142,000.
