Charges expected after teen driver allegedly hit and killed a motorcyclist in Iredell County

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Iredell County, North Carolina, after an SUV crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the motorcycle. The 17-year-old driver, who was not identified due to his age, was not seriously injured. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the collision. As of May 2, pending charges, it is unclear whether the driver will be tried as an adult or a juvenile.
