Motorcyclist accused of failing to stop says he never noticed lights and siren: Westlake Police Blotter

A patrol officer in Westlake, Ohio, saw a motorcycle run a red light and then sped off, leading to the arrest of the driver. The motorcycle had Pennsylvania plates and was impounded at the Sonesta Suites hotel. The driver initially denied involvement with the police, but eventually admitted to driving recklessly. He claimed he didn't notice the officer's lights or siren. Police also impounded a used marijuana vape from the car. The 24-year-old man from Corry, Pa., was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and charged with having excess breath alcohol content and failing to dim high beams.
