Carney Announces $2.6B Uranium Deal With India

Canada's Prime Minister, Mark Carney, has announced a nine-year multi-billion dollar uranium supply agreement with India. The deal includes a $2.6 billion deal with Canadian company Cameco, which will run from 2027 to 2035. The announcement comes after Carney met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and announced several agreements, including nearly 22 million pounds of uranium for use in India's nuclear reactors.
